Analisis Faktor-Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Efektivitas Pengawasan Pengelolaan Food Waste Hotel oleh Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Kota Padang

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi efektivitas pengawasan pengelolaan food waste hotel oleh Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Kota Padang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan data yang didapat dengan wawancara serta dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengawasan yang dilakukan Dinas Lingkungan Hidup tidak efektif karena adanya permasalahan dalam hal regulasi, program, data, sumber daya manusia, anggaran, sarana prasarana, serta partisipasi masyarakat. Permasalahan ini berdampak pada peningkatan volume food waste dan penumpukan sampah di TPA, yang berpotensi mencemari lingkungan serta membahayakan kesehatan manusia. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan agar Dinas Lingkungan Hidup meningkatkan pengawasan aktif dan pasif, menyusun regulasi dan program yang jelas, mengorganisir data food waste, serta melibatkan masyarakat dalam pengelolaan food waste hotel.
