Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Implementasi Program Pengembangan Kawasan Wisata Equator Bonjol Kabupaten Pasaman dalam mewujudkan daya tarik destinasi kawasan wisata Equator Bonjol. Metode pemilihan informan dalam penelitian ini adalah purposive sampling. Pengamatan lapangan digunakan sebagai alat bantu dalam pendekatan pengumpulan data, kemudian dilakukan wawancara kepada informan. Selain itu, studi dokumentasi digunakan untuk dokumen penelitian, triangulasi digunakan untuk prosedur pengujian keabsahan data, dan reduksi data digunakan untuk teknik analisis data guna memperoleh simpulan dari penelitian yang dilakukan. Berdasarkan hasil kajian tersebut, program pengembangan kawasan pariwisata Equator Bonjol dilaksanakan melalui lima program, yaitu: peningkatan daya tarik destinasi wisata, pemasaran pariwisata, pengembangan ekonomi kreatif melalui pemanfaatan dan perlindungan hak kekayaan intelektual, pengembangan sumber daya manusia bidang pariwisata, dan peningkatan peran serta masyarakat dalam pembentukan kemitraan pariwisata. Namun, keterbatasan anggaran, sarana dan prasarana yang belum memadai, pemasaran yang belum efektif, serta belum optimalnya pengembangan ekonomi kreatif dan program sadar wisata akibat minimnya perhatian dan dukungan dari instansi terkait merupakan beberapa permasalahan mendasar yang harus diatasi dalam pelaksanaan program ini. Selain itu, SDM yang kurang terorganisasi dengan baik, tenaga kerja yang sedikit dan belum berpengalaman. Selain itu, keberhasilan pelaksanaan program ini masih menemui berbagai kendala dan perlu ditingkatkan di berbagai bidang.
