Strategi Komunikasi Publik di Dinas Komunikasi Informatika dan Statistik dalam Peningkatan Citra Pemerintahan Kabupaten Bangka

Penelitian ini membahas peran dinas dalam meningkatkan citra sebuah pemerintahan yang bertujuan untuk mendapatkan kepercayaan dan partisipasi masyarakat. Dinas Komunikasi Informatika dan Statistik (Kominfotik) sebagai Humas Pemerintah memiliki strtegi internal dan strategi eksternal untuk membangun komunikasi, koordinasi yang baik antar sesama pegawai, menjalankan fungsi kehumasan dan menjalin kerjasama atau hubungan yang baik dengan media di luar pemerintahan. Dengan metode kualitatif, teknik pengumpulan data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Ada dua kelompok informan yang digunakan yakni informan dari pihak Dinas Kominfotik dan informan dari pihak elemen masyarakat. Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan tentang strategi-strategi yang memanfaatkan media internal dan media eksternal yang bertujuan agar informasi kegiatan pemerintahan dapat tersebar dengan luas serta pandangan masyarakat sebagai dampak dari informasi tersebut. Citra pemerintahan Kabupaten Bangka sudah meningkat terlihat dari dukungan yang positif dari masyarakat walaupun ada beberapa pelayanan yang harus diperbaiki. Peningkatan anggaran yang mencukupi serta sumberdaya yang kompeten sangat dibutuhkan untuk memaksimalkan upaya penyebarluasan informasi.
