Penelitian ini bertitik tolak dari permasalahan dalam pelaksanaan program PKK dibidang sandang yaitu kurangnya kesadaran masyarakat dalam menjalankan program pemberdayaan di bidang sandang. Tujuan penelitian ini guna untuk mengkaji efektivitas pelaksanaan program pemberdayaan dan kesejahteraan keluarga (PKK) di bidang sandang dinagari Sarik Alahan Tigo kecamatan hiliran gumanti kabupaten solok. Dalam penelitian ini metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Sumber data utama diperoleh dari data primer serta data sekunder. Untuk menguji keabsahan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, verifikasi dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan program PKK di bidang sandang di Nagari Sarik Alahan Tigo Kecamatan Hiliran Gumanti Kabupaten Solok belum efektif. Terdapat beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi efektivitas pelaksanaan program PKK di bidang sandang yaitu faktor internal diantaranya SDM pada tim PKK yang belum memiliki pelatihan dan keterampilan yang memadai, sistem sosialisasi yang belum menyeluruh, serta keterbatasan sarana dan prasarana penunjang pelaksanaan program seperti tempat pelatihan dan perlengkapan kegiatan. dan faktor eksternal diantaranya rendahnya kesadaran dan partisipasi masyarakat dalam mengikuti program PKK di bidang sandang.
