Manajemen Konflik dalam Pengoperasian Koridor VI Trans Padang

Berdasarkan Peraturan Walikota Padang Nomor 127 tahun 2021 menjadi sebuah dasar dalam pengelolaan, pelaksanaan dan standar layanan minimal angkutan umum Trans Padang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran pemerintah Kota Padang dalam menangani konflik demo yang terjadi antara sopir angkot padang dengan sopir Trans Padang mengenai rute perjalanan Trans Padang pada Koridor VI. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif, karena penelitian menggambarkan, menuturkan, dan menafsirkan suatu keadaan atau peristiwa sebagaiamana adanya. Penelitian dilakukan di Kota Padang dengan meneliti lokasi yang menjadi penyebab konflik yaitu Koridor VI Trans Padang serta melakukan penelitian ke Pemerintah Kota Padang dan Dinas Perhubungan Kota Padang sebagai informan yang terlibat langsung dalam konflik antara Trans Padang dengan sopir angkot Padang. Hasil dalam penelitian ini menemukan manajemen konflik dalam pengelolaan koridor 6 Trans Padang belum berjalan optimal. Untuk mengatasi konflik ini, diperlukan adanya komunikasi dan koordinasi yang lebih intensif antara pemerintah dengan para pemangku kepentingan. Pemerintah juga perlu memahami kepentingan para sopir angkot dan mencari solusi yang dapat menguntungkan kedua belah pihak.
